After Alan Gavel served our Country in the United States Navy, he attended Georgia College & State University and earned his Bachelor’s degree with honors in Accounting.  He continued on to earn his Masters in Business Administration degree from Vanderbilt University followed by his Juris Doctorate degree from Mercer University – Walter F. George School of Law in his hometown of Macon, GA.

 

Alan actively instructs various Business and Law related courses at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida.  He also conducts tax work shops and hosts conference presentations on various tax related topics nationwide. With a passion for appreciating law and ensuring top quality representation, Alan’s primary objective with Gavel & Leone, PL is to assist clients with IRS tax concerns.  He effectively practices in IRS representation, tax audits/examinations, tax preparation, and Offers in Compromise. Rick Leone served our Country for eight years in the United States Air Force.  He attended the University of Miami – School of Law where he graduated with honors earning a Juris Doctorate degree.  Rick began his career in the tax field as an agent with the Internal Revenue Service.  That experience enables him to provide expert representation for clients who have problems with the IRS.  In 1992, Rick received his board certification from the Florida Bar in acknowledgement of his specialization in matters involving tax law.

 

Rick specializes in all areas of income tax, IRS representation, business and financial planning, and retirement/estate planning, which includes the preparation of all pertinent documents such as wills, living trusts, and Durable/Medical Power of Attorney. He is licensed in Florida and admitted in IRS courts nationwide.
